Trello Schedule
- The Operation’s Manager will set up the schedule in the morning for the day. The only time you will be required to move tasks on tha board is when a task is completed and needs to move over to the “completed by designer” column. This allows them to see that the task is complete and it can be sent off to the client.
- Tasks are scheduled according to urgency from top to bottom.
- Remember to add an “in progress” label to the task you are currently working on, and remove the label when you are not busy working on a task.
- Each task will have a deadline assigned to it. If the deadline is the same day then the client is expecting the finished design back by a certain time (if specified), or by COB.
- Usually all tasks on “Due Today” are expected to be completed before the end of the day, unless specified otherwise.
- Sometimes tasks will be scheduled sooner to avoid an overloaded schedule on another day.
- If you have multiple sub-tasks to complete within your task, i.e. sharegraphics, posters, screensavers, etc. you can create a checklist on the card and tick it off as you complete each sub-task. This allows the Operations Manager to see your progress and assign someone to assist if necessary.
- If you are done with your tasks on the schedule for the day and other designers still have a list of tasks to complete, please check if you can assist in any way so we can all meet our deadlines.
- If there is nothing else assigned for the day, check with the Operations Manager if there is anything else you can work on in advance to reduce the stress of an overloaded schedule for another day.
